Gold and copper hues really make blue eyes pop.
Browns and pinks highlight hazel eyes perfectly.

Brown eyes are versatile and look good with pretty much any colour—just use your imagination!
Free rein on colour!
The smoky eye is a dramatic look, but must be executed with care. Using eyeshadow or liner, the entire eye is contoured in various shades of the same hue that blend together seamlessly. To achieve the perfect smoky eye, opt for an eyeshadow that comes in various shades of the same hue. If you choose to go with the colour green, you can start with a pale green and work your way to brown or even charcoal. Blues can transition all the way to violet, and nude beiges go well with browns and can be applied over matte or pearly finishes.
1
Make sure your complexion is flawless
Before doing your eyes, make sure your complexion is radiant. Cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin before applying foundation and concealer. Don’t forget to apply an illuminating powder on your cheekbones and below your brow bone so that your face catches the light.
2
Create the smoky eye look
Apply the lightest shade of eyeshadow on your entire eyelid and below your brow bone. Using a liner of your choice, draw a large line across your upper eyelid and then gently blend it in using your fingertips. Next, using your eyeshadow brush, apply eyeshadow (make sure it’s the same colour as your liner) on the upper half of your eyelid.
Repeat these steps on the lower half of your eyelid. Draw a line with your liner and gently smudge it. Apply the darker shade of eyeshadow on the inside corner of your eye and upper lid. For an even more intense look, apply a thin coat of mascara to your lashes. If you’re feeling wild, why not choose a mascara that’s the same colour as your eyeshadow?
Quick tip: Right before applying your eyeshadow, give your brush a shake. This will remove any excess powder and make sure you don’t wind up with "racoon eyes"!
