Program benefits
  • Track your blood pressure in collaboration with your pharmacist and doctor.
  • Keep your blood pressure readings in your confidential record where you can consult them at any time.
  • Link your blood pressure readings to your pharmacy file, thereby providing your pharmacist access to your data so they can better evaluate how your medication is working.
  • Print your readouts in table or graphic form. When you take your blood pressure, the kiosk will give you a printout of the last 10 readings which you can then give to your doctor at your next check-up.

What is blood pressure?

Blood pressure is the measure of the force of blood pushing against blood vessel walls. The higher number indicates the force exerted as the heart is contracting and pushing blood (systolic pressure). The lower number indicates the force exerted as the heart relaxes between two beats (diastolic pressure).
