Logging into the Health Record
You must first create a Jean Coutu account before you can access the Health Record. To create the account, click I Am a New Customer in the login page.
Note that the account on the photo printing site and the account on the Jean Coutu site are two different accounts. Even if you already have an account to print your photos, you must create a Jean Coutu account to access the Health Record. You can use the same e-mail address for both.
Not necessarily. You can activate several Health Records from a single Jean Coutu account. While logged into the Health Record, create a tab for each person by clicking (+) Create a New Health Record. You will then have to enter each person’s access code.
If the Health Record has already been created from another account, you must ask the person who created it to provide you with access rights. That person must log in to his/her Health Record, select the Health Record to be shared, click on Access Management and then on Offer a Right of Access.
Yes, you can create a Health Record from your own account. However, that person must authorize the pharmacist to provide you with the access code or give it to you directly. Once you have the access code, log in to your Health Record and click (+) Create a New Health Record.
Go to your email box, open the activation email and click on the activation link found inside. If you did not receive the activation email, clickResend the activation email.
You access code will not work if one of the following situations occurs:
- Your access code has expired
As a security measure, the access code provided by your pharmacist is temporary (5 days). If the time frame has passed, you must ask the pharmacist for a new access code. When a new access code is issued, all previous codes are deactivated. - The access code belongs to another person
A unique access code is issued for every Health Record. Check that the first and last name for who the access code was generated match those of the person for whom you are trying to enter the access code. - The entered information does not match the information in the patient’s file at the pharmacy.
Check that you have correctly entered the patient’s first and last name and date of birth, then contact your pharmacy to have the error corrected. The correction will also be applied in your Health Record.
While logged into your account, click My Information in the left-hand menu. You will be able to see the information associated with your account and make changes to it.
If you forget your password, click on Problems With Your Password?, then select the Create a New Password option. Enter your email address, and an email with a link will be sent to the entered address. Clicking on this link will allow you to reset your password.
The answers to your security questions are used to authenticate your identity when you log in using a new device. If you forget them, you must reset your access to the Health Record by clicking Are You Unable to Login?and then onI Forgot the Answers to my Security Questions.
As a security measure, all the Health Records, reminders to take medications and refill reminders that you created will be deactivated. Also, the rights of access you received or gave to others will no longer be valid. To restore your access, you will have to obtain a new access code for each Health Record you created.
As a security measure, after five incorrect answers to a security question, access to your Health Record is automatically reset.
During the reset, all the Health Records, reminders to take medications and refill reminders that you created are deactivated. Also, the rights of access you received or gave to others will no longer be valid. To restore your access, you must obtain a new access code for each Health Record you created.
