The questions and answers below only apply to the orders placed for home delivery via Canada Post and/or any other carrier we choose to use, and not to orders placed online to be picked up in store. Orders for home delivery are fulfilled at our distribution center and not in stores. For any questions regarding the “Buy online and pick up in store” program, please click HERE.

Yes. Your online transactions and your personal payment information are kept confidential by security software, the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol.
It is possible to pay by credit card (Visa et MasterCard).
The billing address of your order must match the address associated with your credit card in order to ensure the transaction is authorized.
It is possible to cancel an order as long as it has not started being processed at our distribution center. To cancel an order, please contact our Customer Service. It is also possible to know an order’s status in your Jean Coutu account. Cancelled orders cannot be reactivated.
Your order can take up to 48 hours to appear on your credit card statement, depending on the company. On your statement, the transaction date will be the date when the order was placed on the JeanCoutu.com website.
The federal and provincial taxes are calculated according to the delivery address.
Quebec: The environmental handling fees (EHF) are applicable to purchases of aimed products based on the Regulation respecting the recovery and reclamation of products by enterprises. These fees are included in the price of electronics and are given to EPRA-Québec, which utilizes them to finance the integration of its network of official drop-off points throughout the province of Quebec as well as to cover its administrative costs for its program (collect, handling, recycling of electronics). The environmental handling fees are established by EPRA-Québec based on the cost of recycling of each category of products included in the regulation and to ensure its optimal coordination.
Ontario: The environmental handling fees (EHF) are applicable to purchases of aimed products based on the Ontario’s Waste Diversion Act (2002) and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Program Plan. These fees are given to Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES), which utilizes them to finance the integration of its network of official drop-off points throughout the province of Ontario as well as to cover its administrative costs for its program (collect, handling, recycling of electronics). The environmental handling fees are established by OES based on the cost of recycling of each category of products included in the regulation and to ensure its optimal coordination.
New Brunswick: The environmental handling fees (EHF) are applicable to purchases of aimed products based on the Clean Environment Act. These fees are included in the price of electronics and are given to EPRA-New Brunswick, which utilizes them to finance the integration of its network of official drop-off points throughout the province of New-Brunswick as well as to cover its administrative costs for its program (collect, handling, recycling of electronics). The environmental handling fees are established by EPRA-New Brunswick based on the cost of recycling of each category of products included in the regulation and to ensure its optimal coordination.
