Want to light up your nails for the Holidays? Here’s a retro, sophisticated look that will make the season sparkle. Just follow our easy 5-step guide and let there be light!
1. Apply a thin layer of base coat to strengthen your nails and ensure that your colour is as vibrant and resistant as possible.
2. Draw a thick line on one side of each nail using a vibrant ruby red, then extend it as desired. (Our suggestion: alternate the lines between fingers to energize the look).
3. Draw a thinner line around the edge of each nail with a darker shade of burgundy. You might want to use a thin brush to apply the colour.
4. Apply a touch of glittery gold near the ruby-red line.
5. Seal your look with a top coat to protect it and ensure long-lasting hold.
Good to know:
- Make sure you let the polish dry between coats. It’s especially important if you’re layering multiple colours.
- This look works great on oval-shaped nails, but you can adapt it to any nail shape and length.
